Social Netball Sydney CBD — Corporate Leagues & Competitions

Netball is one of the most popular sports in our corporate league network — and it’s easy to see why. It’s fast, it’s social, it’s genuinely competitive, and it’s accessible to players of all experience levels. Anderson Events runs netball competitions across Sydney CBD, North Sydney, Parramatta, and Concord, with both lunchtime and evening sessions available throughout the year.

League Formats

Lunchtime Netball (11:15am–2:15pm) — Our signature format. Games run for 30 minutes during the midday window, allowing teams to play and return to the office without disrupting the working day. Lunchtime netball is our most popular format for corporate teams — it’s the reason clients like Meta, Canva, and JLL have been running teams with us for years.

Evening Netball — For teams that prefer to play after work, we offer evening competition slots across select venues. Evening leagues typically run from 5:30pm onwards.

Grades Available

• Social Grade — for players new to the sport or returning after a break
• Mixed Grade — the most popular format; minimum gender mix requirements apply per team
• Competitive Grade — for experienced players and teams that have played together for multiple seasons

Season Structure

A standard netball season runs 10 weeks, with 8–9 regular season rounds, Finals (semi-finals and grand final in week 9–10), and Referees and court management included. New seasons start multiple times per year. Contact us for the next available start date near your office.

Team Registration

To register a corporate netball team, you’ll need a minimum of 7 players plus reserves. We recommend registering 10–12 players to account for work commitments throughout the season.

Individual Registration

Don’t have a full team? We offer individual spots in select grades, where you’ll be placed with other corporate players to form a composite team. Contact us to check availability.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need to have played netball before? — Not for our Social Grade. If your team includes complete beginners, we’ll place you in a grade where the emphasis is on fun and participation.

What do we need to bring? — Appropriate court shoes (indoor or outdoor depending on venue) and team attire. Anderson Events supplies the ball and all match equipment.
